Douglas started out filming and editing surf and skate videos for the avant-garde publication Desillusion Magazine. He soon developed into a perfectionist craftsman, who sees every shot not only by its composition or lighting but also as a whole choreography of storytelling. A storyteller at heart, his results capture the unique and intangible characteristics of his subjects in order to tell their story. Douglas spirit for adventure, the great outdoors and his sense of wonder permeate his unique vision as a filmmaker.
